Jut wondering if anyone has ever heard of using fishing wire for classical guitar strings? I have heard of some Brazilian players doing this. The high quality fishing wire ha sbeen used by them with success. It is suppossed to bring out the trebles better. I also think that if you could up the tension a bit by using a string that requires more tension to bring it up to pitch, it could give you more to work with in a classical guitar. any thoughts?

the way fishermen buy expensive equipment, it may well be better stuff than the classical strings. But I've never heard this before.

They say it is very consistent and brings out trebles more. It is cheaper too!
