Hey,
Martin's arent easy to come by around here.
but i've always liked these fancy OO's with abalone purflings around the entire thing including around the top surounding the 12-19 frets and at the sides around the heel. know what i'm talking about?

basicaly i'm looking for as many "good" pics of such guitars...something a bit more in-depth than can be seen at Martin's web-site.

thanks,
Udi.

Martin style 45 you are talking about. 41's have top purf, edge only, 42's are top edge and fingerboard extension - 45's are the whole shebang ... and the ONLY martin with mitred purflings. All the rest (lower numbers) are lap joints. FYI Taylor mitres none of theirs (or at least they never used to) .

Udi,

Here's a link to the used Martin section at Elderly Instruments. They have pretty good detail photos. Check back every now and then, as their stock changes.

Elderly

Also, Gruhn, though the photography isn't so thorough.

And then there's Blue-G in Japan, which sadly, has a lot of traffic in vintage Martins, sometimes quite special ones.
