Thank you very much for Replying I saw this design on a Lowden, and didn't have a chance to study it up real Close. I thought it was a neat idea as what always concerns me about the standard compensated bridge is that the strings are often on a fine edge and if they cut in under tension then the inotation has surely changed.
By using a two part saddle you could put the strings more towards the middle of the saddle and thus avoid this problem.
The thing I was interested in looking at was the angles each part of the saddle slope at, and the position of the bridge pins in relation.
