Ok, I admit it. I'm not a classical guitar aficionado. But, the LA Guitar Quartet is going to be in town this Friday. Now, this is probably a silly question, but have any of you guys seen them? And is it worth going?

I don't think you would be disappointed.  They really are outstanding.  They sort of stepped in where the Romeros left off.  Every one of them is a master in his own right, so together they make a great package.

What Waddy said. I knew these guys back when they were the USC guitar quartet and still students there. Four of the best guitarists around today. Definitely a do-not-miss concert.

Best,

Michael

Nay,

If you are not a classical guitar aficionado now, you will be after hearing them. You will be amazed to hear just how good each player is and to see them playing in tight precision is memorable.

To hear a really good classical guitarist is great, to here a duo or other larger group is a whole other dimension and cant compare to any other type of guitar group.

Thanks guys, I'm trying to find tickets. I didn't find out about it until yesterday and apparently they sold out on concert announcement. Hopefully, I can find a pair.

EDIT BUTTON

If I do get to go, I'll be sure to write up a review. Just because I'm not an aficionado doesn't meant I'm not a critic

You might not like the music in some cases, but you'll be hard pressed to find much to criticize about the playing.

No doubt! I checked out some samples of their work.
Hehhe, those who can do, those who can't, write reviews and critique

I saw them for the second time about a month or 2 ago. They are great. Although Andrew York quit, but the guy they replaced him with was great also.
