I just cut into a cocobolo billet this morning and thought I'd share some pics of the resulting sets. These shots are "dry", fresh off of the bandsaw, no liquid used to pop the grain, so we'll have use our imagination as to the "wet look".

I'd leave the layout right where it is...pushing it forward would bring the flatsawn area out of the bouts, where it looks mighty fine...

I would put it up for sale on the swap meet on Monday... That's just my opinion

Thanks guys....I've only got 5 sets from the billet, wish I had a hundred that's for sure as 3 of them are already spoken for....it looks better in person!
