Hi All:

First I have a german spruce F-5 mandolin top. This top is carved and graduated to Loyd Loar specs. The tone bars are installed as well as gauze reinforcement around the f-holes. Most of the hard work has been done. Even the scroll is carved so, save yourself some time and frustration.

Price $75.00

Next...The matching back in figured maple. Again, it's been carved and graduated to Loar specs. The scroll hasn't been carved on this one. I've had these sets for over ten years. I just never got around to completing this one.

Price: $50.00

Question about the redwood. You said good for double tops, or drop tops. In my ignorance, is it good for flat top acoustics? If so I will take one set at $35.

Hi Donovan;

The Redwood will work for a flat top but, due to the heavy figuring, the redwood will have to be stabilized with a substrate (double top) or z-poxy.

If you're still interested, shoot me a PM with shipping details and e-mail and I will send you payment info.

Thanks, Don

What ever doesn't sell becomes kindling. I have too much wood and have to get rid of some. Make me an offer. I'm open to trades too.

I will have more sets to post this weekend.
