Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to find plans / templates for a Gibson J-45?? If those aren't attainable I'd settle for a similar slope shouldered model.

Thanks in advance!

Jordan

Thanks Todd! I'll definitely look into those options.

I believe the guitar plans unlimited version has is from an actual guitar, and they guestimated the bracing, etc.

Mike Collins put a lot of work into the J-45 plan, and the setup he used to measure the bracing is pretty clever. I'd bet it's the most accurate, if that's what you're after.

I have to place a small order with Stew-Mac this week, so I'll probably go
ahead and grab the plans from them.

Thanks for all your help Todd. I need the whole gamut of specs, so the
Collins plans should work great. Don't worry about digging anything up
though.

Another thing you might want to grab is the book "Fabulous Flat-Tops" they have quite a bit of detailed gibson info in there. Brace sizes etc.
