Maximum PC magazine awards a prize every month for "PC case modders" who submit photos of PCs engineered into objects not associated with PCs.  The page is usually toward the very back of each issue.

People have done coffins, beer kegs, slot machines, artillery shells, toasters, aquariums and more.  But this guitar PC is I think a first.  It has the Jerry Garcia vibe going for it.

I have, from time to time, seriously considered building an electric with a built-in micro-ITX or mini-ITX MoBo in it. But then I come to my senses and realise that's really quite idiotic.

I have actually been thinking about buying up a few old flea market guitars (think less than $20), and turn them into wall clocks. You can buy the clock movements pretty cheap, and it would at least make some use of the wasted wood these guitars are made out of.

I never have enough time to build guitars.... couldnt fit that kind of thing into my schedule....

I wonder how long it will before it starts cracking because of the extreme heat from the computer and lack of humidity?
