What sizes, tops are, in your opinion, the best combos for this wood.
Also, is it a preferred wood for a certain style player?
What wood sounds closest to it?

Large body. Jumbos and dreads, Ero, Adi, Caucasian Like most Maples and Sycamores it is a somewhat bright but mostly considered for its defined, clean crisp fundamentals

Makes a great guitar for flat picking country and bluegrass and strumming rhythm type play

I just bought a KILLER set of quilted maple. The plan is to build an AJ with it. Just like Michael stated, this will be my Country strummer with an Adi top!

Bob, try a Lutz top.
Order one of Shane's KILLER master grade, and glory in the Sitka-ish rays and the White-ish color.
Great compliment for the maple.

Will sound pretty good, too.
