Just wondering if I'll get to meet any OLFers...

Mark,

A few people were talking about this on a previous thread. Maybe this will help. Sounds like a wonderful learning experience.

Attending the Somogyi Class

Hi Mark, I'm going. I think there are 3 OLFers besides yourself. I can't wait!

It should be a lot of fun! I'm apprenticing with Ervin, so I get the benefit of his expertise 6 days a week, but I will be sitting in on portions of the class. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Bring your thinking caps!
I'm apprenticing with Ervin

-Mark
No kidding? So did you hook up with him after Ray left?

What a fantastic opportunity.

Brock:

Ray was still there when I did my interview in May. I started with Ervin just after the Healdsburg show, and am coming up on 4 months. It IS amazing! Besides the day to day learning, Chris Morimoto (the other apprentice) and myself, meet with Ervin once a week for lunch to discuss various aspects of building. I'm really grateful for the opportunity - it is allowing me to take my skills to a whole new level. Things I couldn't even see three months ago, are now unacceptable to me!
