I checked his website but didn't see any. Maybe I should call.

Without a doubt.  He often has things that don't get to the website.  Never assume Bob does not have something you need.

I haven't talked to Don Williams in the last couple of days, but you might shoot him a PM, too. I know Don has some amazing quilted sapele, but in the purist sense of the word that might not be what you're looking for.

Besides, Don quite often "finds" things on the shelf he forgot about a long time ago.

Bill

There's no pictures on my website of the stuff Bill mentioned, in case anyone's wondering. That stuff has been a well-kept secret for awhile. I might be persuaded to sell some of it, but it won't be cheap. Quite the contrary I'm afraid, but worth it.

Well, it's not a secret anymore and since Bill already knew about it, my guess is that it wasn't a well-kept secret before.

What else ya got on the secret shelf?

Actually Greg, only a hand full of folks knew I had the stuff... I kept it pretty quiet, as I want to sell some, but not all. The stuff is too nice to part with much of it. Bob Long is the only guy so far that got a set from me. I'll have to see if I can find a pic of one of the sets...

I don't really need any more wood right now. Last week I paid an outrageous price for a set of Paisley Honduran Mahogany, not to mention all of the bargains I got at the LuthierForum auction.

The paisley mahogany is really fine....saving it for later.
