Those are creative. Not my taste, but really nice. They remind me of the
boxes Ervin Somogyi has on his site.

Yea, the old Reingold rings ah...any of old men remember Reingold? I do!

Very nice, but I wonder sonic wise what the result would be. I don't think too good, at first glance. But very nicely done all the same.

Ballantine had the three ring sign. And it's western hero, Three
Ring Pete. I can remember Mel Allen pouring himself a tall one of Ballantine ("the crips refresher") on TV in between games of a double header at Yankee Stadium. I suspect it wasn't the only glass he'd been pouring.

Reingold was another NYC based brand, and for my money, the better beer. Very dry. "My beer is Reingold, the dry beer," went the ditty. Funny how the beer jingles of childhood stay with you.

OK, it was the CRISP refresher. There was no gang affiliation so far as I know.

Hellooo Lance and Brock. We are waiting. You know, the edit thing.

Howard! you are right! Ballantine Ale, Reingold "extra dry", Shaefer "when you're having more than one". These were the beers of my youth...grandpa always had a fridge full...thanks for the correction.

I liked the one he did on the busted guitar - just the simple non-concentric thing.

Acoustically all of that extra 'edge' to the hole has to add to the drag of air moving through it at the 'main air' pitch. This cuts down the height of the low peak in the spectrum. Those parchment 'wedding cake' roses can just about kill it dead; this wouldn't be so bad.

Remember the cartoon Narragansett TV ads that Stanley Freeburg wrote? My favorite was 'I'm making fun of her'. 'Hi neighbor, have a 'Gansett'

And then there was the Carling brewery, 'on the shores of Lake Cochichuit' in Natick, Mass, next to the GM plant. At least it was not on Chargogagogmanchogagogmunchogagogchaubunagungamog in Webster (the map makers chicken out and call it 'Webster Lake'). That would have eaten up most of the thirty second spot.
