Way to go everyone.

While we wait.....
For those of us who are fairly new to the OLF, can someone briefly tell the story behind this guitar?

Thanks,
Mark

Hmmm....if I recall correctly, a few years back, a bunch of folks wanted to do something nice for Lance, and so they decided to build him a guitar. Someone (John How?) designed a really great little guitar, and sent plans out to the builders, along with a mold. A number of folks did work on it, and passed it along to others to do their part. Bruce Dickey can give you a much better detailed story, but suffice it to say, it was a much longer term project than folks thought it would be. You can probably find lots about it in the archives though.

This is the first year anniversary guitar of the OLF.

The project was to be completed in sixty to ninety days or so.

The Project and all involved enjoyed it's one year, second year, and third year anniversaries.       No one thought it could possibly take that long, but it did.

I have a couple projects in my shop now that are having anniversaries of sorts too. The moniker of one OLFer is Life is Fast, Guitars are Slow. It fits here too.

Here is a lable with the names of the builders:

OK FOLKS!

First and foremost! I am grateful and humbled!
Its amazing what you all did.

I hope this gift of kindness resonates with all our members through out the OLF. And in this new year we can have abundant harmony.

I will have more coherent things to say after this all sets in. Until then,

Here are the pics!

Thanks again!

That's really nice!  Where is that picture of Lance with the Goofy Grin on his face, strumming on that baby?

place for us to all hang out here. No group of humans is going to get along long term from start to finish. This place is doing pretty well I think.

Congrats!

Thank you Lance, and hope you really enjoy that guitar. I think it was built
from the heart, with much thankfulness for this wonderful forum. That really
is a great little guitar. Congrats!

I'm sure this is a violation of the OLF obscenity rule, but... dang, that is some kind of special.

Lance, can we play it at the GAL convention?
