Guitar Player? Not really. I'd say I'm more of a life long beginner. Just started working on a new song (new for me anyway). I'm working on an old time version of Cocaine Blues. (Gary Davis style.)

I pull out some old Frets magazines and found tab for the "Lord's Prayer" as played by Larry Carlton on Alone But Never Alone album. Thought I would give it a try.

Ho hum... I'm still waiting on those Angelina tabs, by the way... and those choice archtop pics...

I'm working on some Don Ross stuff. Tochigi and Blue Bear. I'm also tackling Tommy Emmanuel's take on 'Day Tripper'...

For guitar, I'm working on a finger style version of I live not where I love.

For clawhammer banjo, I'm working on some jigs. Tar Road to Sligo and Top of Cork Road.

For fiddle, I'm working my way through The New England Fiddler's Repertoire.

Two tunes on tenor ukulele, TNC and Guava Jam by Troy Fernandez and one on slack key guitar called Slack Key Lullabye by Led Kaapana.

Presently and off and on for the past 6 or 7 years I've been working on "Nothing's Too Good For A Friend" by Doyle Dykes...actually spent the better part of a year tabbing it out in my layover time...it's scrupulously tabbed note for note and harmonic for harmonic...I can't even play it all yet, but boy, that tab's sweet! My goal is to play it in its entirity on my 50th birthday which leaves me 4 years, 2 months, and 9 days give or take....

Unforgettable, Take Five, and Well You Needn't . After 40 years of folk and bluegrass I'm getting into swing and jazz stuff. Actually I'm hooked. It's a lot of fun.

Just decided to take lessons on Bouzouki and I'm working on the tune St Anne's Reel. Got to love Celtic music!
