At Healdsburg last summer my wife commisioned a long time friend and musical buddy who is a metal worker/artist to make me a sign for our gate in front of the house and surprized me with it this last weekend. Here is a pic. Cool huh!!!

Dude, you'd better get her a nice Valentine's present. ;)

Seriously though, that is a VERY nice gate you've got there. [clap] [clap]

Very nice John right down to the detail and the slot head! This is going to be a memorable valentines for your wife no doubt.

BTW: I sure like the look of your yard better than mine -- mind if I come and visit till say mid-April?

We're low in the sierra foothills, about 1200 ft. We got a wopping 1/2" or so of snow this year and that's just fine with me. If we want snow, it's not very far away and we rarely go looking for it [:Y:]
Sure Anthony, stop on by but I'll be at the beach in Miami mid April!!!

See the shadows from the trees and also see that the trees have a thing called leaves on them........ This means that John must have a thing called sunshine - remember that? [headinwall]

Beautiful sign John and if I am not mistaken it is in the shape of your very fine ladder braced guitars too. [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

Cool!

Question: Are gates common where you live? Up here the only houses that normally have gates are some farms (to keep out the animals), your house does not look like a farm...

What, Billy, when people come to visit, you have to close the gate to keep them there? :o :D
