Ed Cunliff is putting together a get together on April the 26th at the Wood Craft store in Oklahoma City. Starts at 9:30 and ends at noon. Everyone is welcome. He would like to know how many to expect so let me if you plan on attending.

Dave, I'll be there unless I'm on pager that day. I'll check and get back to you. Do you or Ed have any kind of agenda made up yet?

Cool Dave, I look forward to seeing you again. I think you know Ed has wanted to do this for some time now. We don't have an agenda, I wanted to get Larry Ayers to give a demo on how he process shell for inlaying but he can't make it. Do you have any ideas?

Hey, that's pretty cool, Michael's going to make it! Looking forward to meeting you in person Michael.

Dave, I don't have any ideas right now but I'll think about it and see if I can come up with any.

I might be able to make this one, I need to recheck my schedule but I think I might already have plans to be in OKC that weekend as I was going to hang out with a friend while my wife attended a wedding there.

This is cool guys and get-togethers are always a lot of fun.

Maybe it's time for the OLF to have regional chapters?

Yes, they are fun. We had a great time in Arkansas at the last OLF get-together. That was at "old man" Ron's place. Dave and I were both there. Dave drove the furthest though.

The year before that we had one at Bruce's house and it was a great meet as well. There are a lot of very cool guys that hang out here and I'd like to meet every one of them if I could.

Come on down Hesh, it's all downhill from A2 to OKC. [:Y:]

I'm almost positive now that I'll be there.

Hey Michael, would you be able to bring an Ameritage case for us to look at? This could be a good opportunity for us to to check out products that aren't readily available to look at in real life. I brought my luthiertool slotted headstock routing jig to the 1st Arkansas gathering at Bruce's, I could bring that again if anyone's interested.

I don't know if I'll have a guitar complete by then (I've very slow/busy the last couple years, and embarrassed that I haven't finished a guitar since that AR gathering), but I can bring my new Lowden (rosewood/LS redwood S25x) if anyone wants to check it out. I won't be offended if that's not really of interest. I have three guitars all about 3/4 done, I'd love to have at least one to bring.

I'd like to see a Ameritage case if you can bring one.
I’m working on a disguise to get across the state line.

Here's what I've come up with so far for disguises to get across the state line.
What do you all think?

April 26th is just a few weeks away bliss
9:30 to 11:30 at the Wood Craft store in OK City

http://www.mapquest.com/mq/3-9TADbPw8

Ed talked Carrol Cox who has been building harp guitars for a year or so now (long time innovative, nylon string builder) into giving a presentation on harp guitars.

I'll give a demo on how to put together a cheap piezo pickup.

If anyone else wants to "show and tell" I'm sure we can fit you in.
