Yeah, Billy...they help me to see things the way others do in Ann Arbor. A very scary sight indeed!

Would you like to hear some Jethro Tull...... :D

James my friend the only video I have of the Black Tiger being played is when JJ sang us a Dylan tune and I need his permission to post that............. bliss :D

Here is Mark, David, and Jotham doing a Tull tune. http://gallery.mac.com/hesh1956/100006

Although people like Dave, Sam and me will probably never be able to attend one of these occasions it's great to see (and even better, hear) what went on. I think we somehow feel included.
I'll also second what JJ said about Mark. What's more, he has impeccable taste in music. After all, anyone who's favourite bands include Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention has to be one of the good guys!

Hesh...I would have had to be a fool to follow Mark with a song...and a dang fool to have done so had I known that I was being recorded!

Please let me at least see it in private before publicly embarrassing me!

Hesh...you have no father! eek gaah

And to my "friends" with the large fonts...a little compassion please! That song was a terrible mistake...even worse than Rod's "Oh Holy Night!"

Okay JJ, I was about to join the large font crowd until you said that. Now I'm not so sure we shouldn't let sleeping dogs lie. I can still hear Rod's take on "Oh Holy Night" and that's not a good thing.

Hi Billy! I wish you had been there.
Well JJ, thanks a bunch once again. I wasn't AWOL that long- I was lurking, I'll post more often. I am just so busy, if I stay online all the time I can't get any shop time in! But it's nice to be here.
It was fun to have you at my place! I just stopped the tuesday night "therapy group" this winter, I needed the time to build guitars. I still stay in touch with everyone- there are so many builders around here!
I support the efforts to gather us all together, David and I talked about some ambitious ideas such as the things he mentioned in his post. It would be great if we could pull together such a "show", or meeting, or whatever. We could combine this with a little concert, and I am sure that I could get my other two bandmates to come so our trio can play- all on my instruments of course. ;)

Thanks too for the comments on my Fatboy guitars! I have tried to develop something different there.

Ya know, one of these days, y'all need to have one of these meetings while I'm staying in the area. Looks like way too much fun.... besides, I'm likely the only one with longer hair, and beard, than Mark <bg>

I stay at a friend's about 30 minutes north of Detroit a few times each year while traveling to and fro. Maybe some day...

Hey, I just want to thank David and Hesh again for a great time.
I'm sorry I had to leave so early but I had a dinner engagement I had to make.
It was really nice to finally meet everybody there.

Can't wait for the next one.

Cheers
