Pretty, yes, but even in classical position, I can't see how the curve at the butt end is going to make the guitar any more ergonomic...

My first impression was the same as yours Mattia. So I just tried playing my classic in the approved position, footstool and all, and found that the butt end makes exactly the same sort of crease inside my right thigh that the lower bout makes under my right forearm.

I also agree that the binding and purfling looks beautifully done. How it's done, I haven't a clue.
