Here are the F hole 'jigs' I use....

This pic is not focused (did I mention I can NOT take a decent photograph? ), but shows one in action with my cute little utility blanket.

Fantastic Tom!!!
I am super impressed - although you have made some fantastic mandolins Im sure that translates to building archtops really nicely..
Cheers
Charlie
PS I need to correspond with you friend - questions about the bending system

Thanks Charlie,
Hey....for a chuckle, here are a few pics of the mando that started me down the archtop guitar path.
A fella saw this one I made a bit ago and said "make me a guitar just like that....only bigger!"

Tom, that's a very clever jig. I use the female version of your jig and bend by f hole binding on a miniature hot pipe. I think I like your way better!

Nice Mando!

Gorgeous guitar Tom. Did you follow Benedetto's methods, videos, books at all?

[clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] sorry bout the login probs, but that is one fine looking geetar. If you have done mandos, you really had an inside track to the archtop.....very nice indeed!
