I haven't posted any guitars lately so here's some photos my customer took of his new SJ 12. I plan to take it to the studio for some professional photos when I get the guitar back for final set-up and buffing.

Thanks to Don Williams for knowing nice Sepele when he sees it.
Thanks to Shane (High Mountain Tonewoods) for the Lutz
Thanks to Bob Cefalu (RC Tonewoods) for shipping lining to me with the beautiful Jacaronda backing board I used for binding.
Granadillo FB and Bridge,
It's only a couple of days old, but so far I really happy with the way it sounds.

And thanks to everyone for looking.... the pics get quite a bit bigger when you click on em.

There's a face it that perfectly jointed sapele! That is one stunner of guitar!

WHOA ... SCHWING [:Y:] ..... definitely some of the best looking sapele out there, I like it when you get the worm trails all over ... very nice cutaway too .. soft, shoulder like, looks comfy !!! What is the finish Bob ??? Are those 510 minis as well ???

Is it just me .... I think is see the top of Darth Vaders head in there, upper bout centreline

Thanks everybody... Yeah there's a face alright! I was thinkin' some kind of Tiki effigy, or one of the gremlins from the Spielberg movie.

Tony, I'm back to spraying nitro again after a bit of a detour with KTM-9. and... yes, those are 510 minis.

Bob, when are you going to stop making such crappy guitars! I'll tell you what, send it to me so you you don't have to look at it again.

Seriously that is fantastic, great job.

YUMMY Bob!! That turned out GREAT!! I love a 12 string as well. The old Suzuki 12 string I have is my go-to guotar right now!

But, hey, I see one of the Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles in there, not Darth Vader!

Thanks for the pics!

Shane

It must be fun to post something like that...what a beauty.
I think if the OLF had a pictorial dictionary of terms, I'd recommend the back of your guitar as a definition of the term zoot. And, there wouldn't be any other words needed, would there?
Man oh man.....

Dazzling!

Please post this again once you get the studio shots done. That Sapele is otherworldly, and would look good with a very dark (black or deep blue) backdrop behind it, so it looks like it is floating in outer space.

Congratulations on such a pretty guitar, and I hope it sounds half as good as it looks.

Dennis

Has anyone noticed Darth Vader? Right below the line across the widest part of the upper bout?

wow7-eyes

Very nice guitar Bob. By the way, I really like your avatar a lot!

Wow... Thanks guys. It's awfully nice to get a good OLF fix! I really appreciate the nice comments.

Don, I'm really glad you gave in... persistence pays off sometimes.

Thanks Kirby... My avatar is something I created as a background for a concert poster. The concert was called "Share The Music" It's a photo of my daughter and I, and an 19th century guitar.
