I am taking Craigs guitar and this one that has just been strung up to the Miami show.

Body is Brazilian, top is bc Sitka, ebony overlay and fingerboard, blackwood bridge, and bees wing narra binding. The customer wanted a D-45 binding scheme with BIG pearl, so that's the reason. Finish, including the burst is by Tony. Tabitha and other assorted fish by Craig. The neck is walnut.

Thanks for looking.

John

John, I'm glad this is the last one. I don't think I can take any more. That is Stupendous! Great burst, immaculate inlay. Can they get any better than this one or the last one you posted? Man, these are great show guitars!

Wow and Wow! You're going to need a bucket by your table just for people to drool in. Pretty amazing collaboration on both the guitars. [:Y:] [:Y:]

Bro, if these two guitars don't cause a traffic jam at your table, there's something wrong with the traffic!
Tell us what's the center ring in the rosette?

I am almost finished with Tabitha's blond and yellow tailed "twin" Samantha. I just need to engrave the face and hair. You know, the easy parts.. gaah [xx(] [xx(]
Hopefully she'll be at the show, even if she's not a guitar yet.
You know being a marine life guy this shows feels like it's going to be especially friendly to my work being in Miami, even if from just an onlooker point of view. The fish art is everywhere down here! Heck, it's why my marine biologist wife and I moved here! bliss bliss

Meeting you all is going to be absolutely awesome. I can't wait!

John and I are sharing a table ( for some reason I can display all the inlay I want using his guitars... :P So you'll know where to find me if you find him and vice versa.

Craig

Thanks gents. I appreciate all the comments

Bro that is a BRW ring between those two pearl rings. I wish you could see the color better, it does reflect the back and sides pretty well.

john, craig, tony,
outstanding taste and work!!
i generally do not like blingy guitars, but something about the burst and the appointments that makes this guitar work - even with all the shiny stuff. that, to me, is a sign of very tasteful design and careful attention to how all the parts make up the whole.
well done!! hope it sounds half as good as it looks.

Thanks Phil
I was anxious about all the pearl myself, but it settled in to be kind of traditional looking.

Oh my goodness...John that's just incredible. Look for a visit from me sometime in the next couple of months. I know others who would want to come, too.

Wow!!

John, I will not be attending the Miami show. Seeing yours and other recent postings I see I will be missing one hell of a show. All the best to you in your showings in Miami!!

Totally amazing craftsmanship. John and Craig, wow. That brazilian is impressive. Love the simplicity of the bridge. The mermaid is just right, very seductive.

Thank you Bruce!
I really appreciate your comments on the bridge because Kinnaird West does not think too highly of it. I was going for something simple, less frilly than my other bridge designs, having been inspired by Hesh and Blanchard. Your comments give me hope!
