Hi all.
I know John and I have been posting a lot, and well. Guess it means we make a lot of stuff!
Here is my latest. I actually have one more finishing up for the show as well.
This is "Duke and Duchess", named in honor of his and her pearlness themselves.

The two wood ducks reminded me of how Chuck Erickson and his wife Cheryl walk down the isles at shows in full royal dress.. wow7-eyes :D :D

Hope you like it. In person this one really glints a lot.

Wow just what- two more days to go!!! eek eek eek

wow7-eyes wow7-eyes wow7-eyes
Thanks as always for looking!!

Actually no.

idunno

I am trying to get my new website up before this event and that is not going well, I am finishing Samantha tomorrow and that is going well, and I need to clean my house and organize the universe about to descend upon me.

The stress is actually really exciting!

Thanks Lance.
Craig

One more amazing inlay, Craig. Is there no end to your talent? I guess we'll know when you don't have anything else to post, huh? Such fine work. Beautiful! [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

Amazing job there! Your inlay always makes my jaw drop, I think you have set a very high standard. I'd love to see another pic once the fretboard is bound!

This is one of the last six for the Chesapeake project. One more and I am finished with it.
bliss bliss bliss bliss bliss bliss bliss

Once my new site is up and running (is there a prayer emoticon?? There MUST be...)

I'll have these as well as the finished guitars in a special section.
I am working on finishing Samantha (Tabitha's twin sister) now, so there is actually going to be one more inlay before Thursday.
Sadly for the state of the house that is.. idunno

Your comments are truly appreciated..

As far as begging goes that used to work about ten years ago but now I need deposits. Sorry.

I noticed how the use of the blue piece draws my eye and points me at the maker's logo - very cool!

I speak Duck and I talked with the two who posed for this inlay yesterday. laughing6-hehe Here is a quote:

"Quack!"

Translated it means: "Wow! Craig made me look beautiful!" To which the male duck replied:

Quack! QUACK!

Which, translated, means: "Ooo lah lah! And I look fantastic. I will attract so many of the opposite gender....."

I also had a vision of CLavin driving home in a new mid-life-crisis sportscar bought with all the dough he made selling his new guitar....Say its not true!

Mr Lavin, you have outdone yourself again. We are not worthy.

You know I was approaching a mid life crisis but then I quite my day job and became a full time inlayer. I have no regrets and have been at peace ever since.

Which has no bearing on the fact that I want one of these..

Image

Mid life or any life. It matches the guitar colors really well..

laughing6-hehe
