A member here sent me an email after I posted pictures of a guitar. The feedback was unsolicited.

Quote:
I want to pass on some unsolicited feedback because, the more I build, the more I value the serious critiques. And you seem to be the kind of guy who is totally capable of taking it ...........

I think he paid me a nice compliment. His feedback was helpful, valuable, specific, and I appreciated it. I am glad that he spent his valuable time to be helpful to me.

I hope everyone here feels free to send me unsolicited feedback.
I also hope that we would all welcome feedback.

I love Proverbs 27:17 -
Quote:
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

May we be a group that sharpens one another!

I like the way you think Steve. That was really nice reading that.

This explains a lot!
Is that why I find so many of these people GRATING! :D :D :D

It's not just criticism but just the sharing of understanding that sharpens! I've seen some examples of really good guys on this forum and really good work!

In the spirit of unsolicited feedback - Hesh SUCKS!!!! :D :D :D

I'm sharpening you Buddy !!!! laughing6-hehe

yup, well meant critique is a good thing.

If I want to hear a load of flattering mush from folks who don't know a reamer from a router, there are forums I can post pics of builds on.

if I want realistic critique from people who know what they're TALKING ABOUT........

then it'll be here......

(but I'll not be posting any more pics of rude looking wood!!)
