Quilt maple from Ed Dicks(neck stock from A&M), flamed mahogany binding stock from Larry Davis, fretboard inlays by Paul Bordeaux, snakewood pins and Waves from StewMac, all else from me own stock and hands, including red spruce from my favorite tree.

Truly special Mario! And I so love slotheads. [clap] [clap] [clap]

What finish?...and any comments about the burst and golden glow?

Also...great purflings on top.

What about the sound?

The sides look extra deep. Na must be the depth of that Quilting.

Mario,
very tastefully done!
Are the back and sides slightly stained?

Mario,
That is just awesome! I don't really like bursts, but this one is just the right amount. Very classy. Thanks for sharing!

Really nice, Mario. I like the way the back strip splits to the tail and heel. That really sets it off. Very beautiful guitar.

Mario, that is one gorgeous guitar. I'm with Tracy on not being a fan of bursts but yours compliments the guitar so well. All of the details are elegant. I love the understated black purfling. It really sets off the quilted maple. The inlay is beautiful as well and doesn't hog the show. I can see why you wanted to post this guitar. Bravo!!!

Edit:

slotted rules.
The maple motif fret board salutes the life that made its creation possible.
to me it also has a reassuring feel,
Of a new life began
singing its way on
for seasons beyond
us.

Personal or professional?

Creation peeks?

Mario, great looking guitar (sounds as good as well no doubt). I'm not exactly known as a fan of bursts, but I have to admit that one really does compliment the whole guitar. Yes, really like that one.

Mario the is about the coolest guitar that I have ever seen - I love everything about it. When I read that you used Hog bindings I thought that was odd until I saw the results. Wow - this guitar is perfect in every way. [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

I absolutely love sunbursts so this guitar is very appealing to me.
Great job, O- Grumpy One ! The inlays are super too.
I like your sound port also. [:Y:]

Oh, it's lovely (and I have no problem admitting that I actually like sunbursts...)!

Now, I have a feeling this one is special not only because it is a beautiful guitar, but also because of the serial number... How am I doing, Mario?
