Hey Bob, Yours looks great. I really like mine and tip the hat to our pal in Morral, Tim McKnight. I didn't know everyone else was using the deputy like Waddy T. If you can stand the static discharges when moving it, it's a great tool. Turns out, the static charge makes it work really really well. Me likes your other tools too....

The Craftsman portable table saw looks like what I need too - it sounds like you are pleased with it?

Can I have your Laguna and will you deliver it and set it up in my bathroom?

Bruce it's your setup idea that is neat. Only takes a 2' x 2' footprint.
I'm going to add something to store the vacuum accessories and maybe
something to wind the hose on.

Dennis I will use it for general shop cleanup and also on some of the tools
like the router table, that Craftsman table saw which is fitted with a 2 1/4"
dust port etc. etc.

Hesh I do like that saw. I have a cabinet saw at home but wanted something
with a smaller footprint for the shop since I don't build cabinets any more.
The sliding table is a really nice feature as is the router table on the right hand side.
I'd send you the Laguna but then you would not see any "Zoot" from the Zootman.

The spiral cutterheads on the two Grizzly machines are awesome. Virtually no tear out on
figured woods and they cut so quietly.

That saw is a Craftsman-branded Ryobi BT3000 or 3100 (can't tell how old it is). It is a great saw!

Jay I know it's made by Ryobi. In fact I ordered an accessory table made by Ryobi.
It is brand new. well 2 weeks old. Bought it on sale for $399.

To anyone concerned about it being underpowered. I wanted to add that I don't do any ripping on my tablesaw.
My Laguna band saw will out rip any table saw I have ever used.

Very impressive, Bob! You've come a long way, paisano.

I've had that same table saw under the Ryobi name for a few years now and really like it. I changed to Mario's recommended Freud 7-1/4" thin kerf blade and it seems to be the right blade for the jobs I use it for.

That jointer is just plain scary but I'll bet it's effective as is the planer. The Zootman just seems to get better and deliver more quality each month. These tools are sure to increase qulaity as well as output.

Looking forward to seeing the shop progress as well as you and my adopted family in a few weeks.

Wow.. that's a serious jointer and planer you have there! I wish I had shop space for such things.
I have a non-portable version of that table saw and I too love it.. It's a great saw.
The slide table is excellent for slotting fingerboards! I use it with stewmac's blade and spacing jigs, very accurate and quick way to slot boards.
