Bob .. we are staying at the Quailty Inn on Ave du Parc .... cheapest rates, decent place, excellent breakfast in hte restaurant (stayed there last year), about a ten minute walk to the show and Jazz fest areas. Half the price of the Marriott where the show is.

I would just like to suggest that you stay at a place where the lovely and gracious Rosie can get pampered at the hotel day spa. And also make sure it's close to shopping! :D [:Y:]

I've no useful info regarding the hotel question, but for the family, they will want to head over to the Olympic Park. The old Velodrome is converted into what is called the Biodome. Its a MUST SEE! And across the road, basically, is the Montreal Botanical Gardens, That is also a MUST SEE. I particularly enjoyed the Chinese Garden(but ran out of time for the Japanese Garden), and the kids will love the Insectorium.

We are looking to stay here http://www.trylon.ca/ I don't know anything about this place but it looks really nice and the rates seem really good.

Bob,
You might want to email Jacques (OLF Handle is Guitarjunky) I bet he would have a whole list of places.

Lance I see about 5 places on the show link above. One of them should work if they're not all booked.
