I'm looking for some European archtop Spruce. Has anyone tried the stuff available at Stew Mac? How is it? I'd also be interested in hearing from any forumites that have some for sale. I want to make a 17" guitar so the Spruce has to be a little wider than that.

Jack, I've not ried it but I do get Euro Maple B&S from Stewmac & have been generally happy with it. I'd say give it a try. (I'd also like to hear if anyone has used it.)
Shopping locally, you may have better luck finding Euro cello spruce than archtop.
