Nope. I was under the impression they import the majority of the stuff they use (I recall a post stating chinese factories were buying entire harvests worth of Engelman and/or Sitka, or almost). I know a bunch of folks got a great deal on EIR by group ordering a bunch direct from a mill in India, but I have to say that I've never come across much in the way of suppliers outside the US and a few in Europe (mostly soundboards, although spain has a number 'everything' acoustic guitar related, and the UK has a fair few suppliers as well. Oz seems to be fairly lutherie supply-less, overall.)

There was a couple of fellas from Malaysia that had some nice wood at ASIA Symp. Maybe BobC Has there contact info. I know its not China but its closer that the USA, right?
