Gibsons, 4 Les Pauls, an SG and this afternoon I did some nut and bridge work on Howard Alden's
1947 L5. Very nice guitar. Oh yeah forgot about the Les Paul headstock repair! Then there are the Fenders,
a Jackson Soloist, 2 Martins etc..... it will be a busy day tomorrow.
Hesh congrats on your retirement [clap] [clap]
Best
Evan

OH, yeah, Hesh, congrats on retiring! You're my new role model! Gotta wait though, two kids have to get through college and the youngest is 8. Maybe the 529s will do well.

Having built every single guitar I've made from locally sourced timbers (with the exception of a handful of spruce and cedar tops) I've decided I should try my hand at some traditional tonewoods, so next week I'm starting work on plain old Mahogany/Sitka 000 and after that two EIRW/Sitka builds; probably an 0/parlour and something else (OM perhaps).

Here is what is going on in my shop. I am helping Kent Everett film a steel string guitar voicing DVD and another one on steel string guitar set up.

Right now I have five going,
A pair of OMFS, Engleman/Coco and Cedar/Coco
due up this summer,
An E2 Flamed Mahogany/carp due now!
and a D12 Addy/Hondo. Due this fall
And lastly a Euro/Madrose OMFS Due in December.

Just this past weekend I took a commission that I am stoked to get to. It will be maybe two years off, but this is the wood my guy chose.

Macassar and LS Redwood! Woo baby!

Just snapped this one the other day. Some finish jobs, some strip/finish jobs and some repair jobs too. Plenty of fun to go around! [:Y:]

Lot's a great activity guys!

Lance congrats on all of the commissions!!!! And that wood combo is going to make a killer guitar I am sure.

I can personally attest to the fact that Joe White's shop is far cleaner than mine....... :D

Lets see some more goings on in your shops please?
