Do y'all Think y'all can make y'all's forum more annoying, Please?

Never mind that we have to wade through 3/4 page of ads [:Y:] 3 announcements [headinwall] and one sticky  just to get to the lame content, :o now you added a ridiculously HUGE   swapalooza banner. Well done..... bliss

And ya wonder where the traffic went.... duh

I had to go look to see what the heck you were talking about. My shortcut is set straight to active topics, so I never see the main page. Sure, I still see the ads, but one roll of the scroll mouse has me down to the meat. Anyway, why would I get worked up about something like that?

Mario, just set your shortcut to "active topics" or "view new posts". Sure, I'll get the occassional Off Topic post, but that section isn't getting hammered too hard.

Anyway, it's not like you don't post off topic stuff on other forums, I don't know why you get worked up about it here. Go ahead and post something about BBQ or your latest post on Boogie Woogie piano. (Yes, Mario digs boogie woogie piano....)

To answer your first question, YES if we wanted to! pfft

With regards to your "traffic" comment. Traffic is not down. Readership is larger than ever. Posting
since we moved to the new server has stayed consistent, with in +/- 10% each month.

Mario, go back to bed! That's what I tell my kids when they get up in a bad mood ;)

I love you too.... bliss bliss

Since there';s a discussion on polyester finishes in the off topics section, i automatically figured nobody'd go look there for something that actually was off topic laughing6-hehe

My bookmark takes me straight to the main discussion(here). I then have to scroll endlessly and needlessly to find the content. [headinwall] But the worst part is the exaggerated, large crooked font silliness of the swap meet. A little over the top, no? gaah Feels like I'm surfing e-bay and ran across an ADD kid selling video games or something. wow7-eyes

Mario,
Personally I don't care if you like the Swapalozza banner or not! I really don't!
I made it, figured out how to put it up, and am dang happy with it! I think it look cool!
Very eye catching and will help generate a lot of buzz for the up coming swapmeet.

If you don't like, OH WELL! pfft

Hesh are you suggesting that Mario should get along...with people?...now THAT'S something to ponder.

I mostly lurk here....don't have a lot of posts....but couldn't resist this one....especially after all the reading I have done where Mario insists on being....well....Mario. And now this. Maybe he knows a lot and has vast experience....but if the cost of gleaning a little bit of it means one has to 'put up with his s#$@'...then I can and will find it elsewhere.

I don't put up with his kind in my real life....so why should I here?

Lance...do it again...anyway you want. In fact...make it bigger this time....gotta be bigger and more ridiculous and on the Main Discussion Forum. Do it.......and I will dress up like a trailer park cheerleader that didn't quite have what it takes to make the team......and post pics of it on the main discussion forum!

laughing6-hehe Good one Hesh....but I GUARANTEE.....that if I have to dress down in a cheerleader outfit, you will have to work hard to beat the 'quality' of the photo's...but I will do pretty much anything to place a few more 'mental roadblocks' in front of Grumpy.

My wife is banging her cage...can't wait to hit the button on the camera.

Lex, that's just a link to the off topic section. At least, that's what I'm getting.

Ill work on that one Michael!

Ya know, I see a pattern here.

This is not the first time that Mario has stepped in, tossed an insult or two around, voiced a sarcastic opinion and then checked out.

Leaving us all to respond.

My wife tells me that "he must be getting something out of this behavior". I tend to agree with her. She is a wise woman.
This is not the first time she has commented on his behavior.
