Whuile y have done several hand rubbed bursts in the past I had a client that decided he wanted a burst after the first coat of finish whent on. so I did a 5 color Tabacco burst using Stewmac's translucent dyes and KTM9. Just out of the booth this weekend and odviously not rubbed out yet but worked pretty well

Vintage Amber - Tobacco Brown and were the only stain colors used but I made up 3 intermediate ratios of the two in combination to transition with starting with pure vintage amber and slowly adding tobacco brown.

It is interesting the different colors you can make with just two dyes, but my work bench looks tie dyed now [headinwall] laughing6-hehe
