I guess this one is almost ready for Joe White's shop! bliss

It was a challenge to get the bevel dome in Madagascar but it was well worth it!

Thanks for looking.

Peter, Are you aware of my new finishing policy? All guitars must be shipped with bridge, neck and strings on and may take up to 12 weeks to get back and then only if I am happy with the recordings,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,oop,,,,,,I mean finish.
laughing6-hehe Just kidding of course. What a stunner!

Peter I really like that style of bevel especially the way you blended it perfectly with the binding. Did you use a veneer or is it a solid block? Nicely done!

You thought Joe White was kidding I bet....lol If it is shipped as requested it'll come back not only with a flawless finish but already played in for your client all for a nominal upcharge.

Please show us pictures finished...this one is gonna be a knockout.

Peter, let me ask again. Is the Madagascar bevel made from a solid block or is it a veneer?

This guitar is beautiful - I have seen very few where the arm rest looks a balanced as this one. Most make the top look slightly off. This is a trick no-one has put in book or a video yet and put me on the list of forum members who would like to know more about how you did it.

Thanks a lot! However I can't get credit for that Bevel. While yes I did put it all together, the credit goes to Kevin Ryan for coming up with this design. [:Y:] The binding/bevel transitions are really an amazing creation!

Peter a couple more questions if I may.

1) Did you shape your bevel by hand or did you use a router bit and a template?

2) Nice job on the purfling on the rib side of the bevel. Did you cut that in my hand?

The more I look at your pictures the more detail I see.....and the more impressive it all is. It will truly look amazing once finished.

Anthony,
the bevel is cut by hand with a grinder and a file. Everything else is also done by hand.
