If this has been asked recently, forgive me.

I sent BC and order almost a month ago. The check hasn't cleared the bank and I can't reach him via phone or email. Is he on vacation? Has something happened that I missed?

When I first met him online a few months ago, he was very responsive. I hope all is well.

The Cochran who invented Warp drive in 2069 was Zephram Cochran, not Bishop Cochran. Gordi LaForge went to Zephram Cochran High School where Warp Engine Design was a required course...
(reference: Star Trek Next Generation movie, First Contact...the one with the Borg queen)

Opps I just tipped my hand and now the Lutherie world knows Im a trekkie and trekker (Star Trek original series geek as well as Star Trek Next Generation geek)...

What do you mean Star Trek isnt real...they invented flipphones in 1967...called communicators )

Well, my attempt to lure any potential fellow Trekkies out of the woodwork had soime success. Very good Shawn, I was hoping someone would get the joke and give us the correct name. Well....almost it's Conchrane with an "e" at the end.

And yes they did invent the flipphones, and the dvd!

Science fiction aside, I thought I should let ya'll know that I was finally contacted but one of Bishop's associates. Apparantly there was a parts shortage. It was to ship today or Monday.

Of course they probably misplaced the phone and the computer too. Oh well...

anyone have quality pix of a Cochran base? Do they do well routing the binding channels on 5* backs (read tilt base?)

no,not good for binding channels. photos are available on allied's site.

best build a williams binding channel routing machine.
