Sorry, but I find that slide show extremely frustrating.

The images don't stay long enough and aren't big enough to get a good look at them.

If you hold the cursor on them they stay on screen but become washed out.

The worst thing is there's no information on who the people are, or which luthiers made the instuments.

Very unsatisfactory.

Thanks Lance!

The slide show is great and it's very cool to see many of our friends there too. Paul is looking good too and his guitars always are.

I know you must be very busy getting ready to return home but when you get a chance would you please let us know your impressions of the show? I would be interested in knowing the attendance and if people were giving it up so-to-speak and purchasing guitars?

Also were there any new innovations that were released at the show. For example last year Kevin Ryan introduced his acoustic flutes at HGF - anything like this at Montreal?

Thanks!

Dave, you totally blew it there bud.....all you have to do is click on the "View all images" button, and then you can click on each picture to bring it to its own screen, and then you can click on it to enlarge it. Most names are either on the person, or their table, or on the guitar or label, or they are so famous you instantly recognize them.

Nice job Lance.

My apologies.

But I had tried clicking on "View all Images" and it opened a black screen and the images didn't load. I tried several times with no success so I assumed WYSIWYG. It seems to work now. Even so, for people like me, a small caption would be nice. I'm not one of the small circle of old buddies so a photo of two guys I don't know with their arms round each other doesn't mean much. I'd also like to know who made the guitar with the open headstock.

Lance,

Thanks for taking the time to do this during the show! I wanted to be there very badly but couldn't make it. It was great to see Wade at his table!

HI Guys, were packing to head home tomorrow. Once back I have about 150 more pics and some videos as well that I will be putting up. The slide show will be replaced by a MUCH better working version (sorry for any troubles). That was quick and easy to do at 1 am after having a few laughing6-hehe

More to come!

All I can say is this has fastly become my favorite show! It was a FIRST CLASS Event, Jacques-André Dupont has a monster on his hands and lets not forget Rebbecca West for her AMAZING management of all us silly guitar builders! Great job Rebecca!!!!!

Just got back this evening after spending three hot days in Montreal geeking out over all the wonderful instruments. This year's show was well above and beyond the great job that was done last year. I'd say the formula, from a buyer's perspective, was spot on. You couldn't miss anybody's instruments accidentally. Very well laid out. Once I got used to where the rooms were for the extracurricular activities (mini-concerts, workshops, etc.) it was all good.

Great job J-A!

Oh yeah, this is the third year in a row that I haven't been able to get a word in with Ms. Manzer... Popular gal.

Me and Ken Franklin pickin' and chillin' in the back hall:
