Sprockett (Paul Davis) is right. This is a community, a band of brothers (girls too), a fellowship of the strings, sawdust sailors, toolmongers, forumites, wood junkies and just plain ol' buds. We need each other, enjoy each other, revel in the fact we are all walking along the same pathway with common interests and goals.

So that brings me to this list. Compiled from all the names on just the first page of seven current pages of the Main Discussion Forum. Missing..... well there are a few names missing.... those that have already posted a Luthier's Bio. Earlier, I said, "No Excuses," but just so we all understand, go ahead, tell us why not.

    Shane Neifer
    Walter Kiralla
    Old Man, Ron Wisdom
    Gary Cote
    Russell Rose
Jerry Hossom, Luthier Wannabe, ditto that
    Tom Harbin
Dave Rector, my memory is not what it used to be
Dennis Leahy, Luthier Wannabe, a light year away from feeling like an "insider."
    Brad Goodman
    Simply Here, Bill Greene
Ed Barajas, looking for good side to photograph
    A Zimmer 1, Andrew Zimmerman
Bruce Holbrook, Federal Nit-Wit-Ness Protection Program
    Ray L, Raymond Lee
    J W Samuel
    Barry Dudley
    Frank C, Frank Carnevale
    Kelby the Attorney
Josh House, These last few weeks have been crazy!
    Bob J, Robert Johnson
    Craig Lavin
    Dave Andy, Dave Anderson
    Jimson, Milt Lathan
    Brazilwood, Jeff Binion
    Lets Eat Paste, Jon Kendall
    Joe Volin
    R Coates
J Breault, Joseph Breault, I wouldn't dream of calling myself a luthier........ yet
    Crazy Man Michael, Michael McClain
    Arvey, Richard Harvey
    Michael McBroom
    Jim W, Jim Watts
    John O, John Oshtoff
    Dale M, Dale Mitchell
High Draw Licks, Michael Propsom, yacht carpenter
    Kevin Gallagher
    Glen S., Glen Sucher
    Mark Swanson
    Cogges, Howard Coggeshall
    Colby Horton
    Larry Presnall
    Pete Licis
    Steve@Colonial Tonewoods, Stephen Roberson
    Tippie53, John Hall
    LouisianaGrey aka Pete Woodman
    oldman, Mike Williams, Lance Guitars
    Cocephus, Coe Franklin
    ctholden, Craig Holden

Now, that's about forty-nine, there are only 32 spaces, so some of you will be relegated to the third page if that's okay. We'll still find you there. Now, don't forget, we need a nice OLF Smile, like this one for the camera:

By the way, where is Sylvan lately?

Bruce -
Good to see you back! I have been hanging out but working harder than I
want to. I comment when I think it is needed, otherwise, I just hang out!

Sylvan, you are one of the "greats". Your comments are always needed.

Guess I need to get on with that too. I keep meaning to do all this kind of stuff, but my memory is not what it used to be.

I'm just waiting for the day when I head down to the shop and can't remember wher it is I'm going.

I'm in the nitwitness protection program, so I have to keep a low profile

Could you make a separate page for luthier wanabees? That's my page! This isn't false humility. If I even complete ONE dadgum rotten geetar, I'll be proud to put my wanted poster up there next to the real luthiers - but I will still be a light year away from feeling like an "insider."

I have to agree with Dennis and Jerry here. I wouldn't dream of calling myself a luthier yet. Especially not after seeing the beautiful work the rest of you do!

Oh look, my name is on that list! Guess I should do something about that. Well I will try to soon. These last few weeks have been crazy and I haven't had a chance to be around here much. Things in my life should get back to normal in about a week and then maybe I can do this.
