Yep, that was one of mine. I recognized it from one of my goofs. The goof is on the pic of the soundboard and is not structural. Lets see who can find it. That was the first guitar I used F.P. over Z-poxy (the only method I use now). BTW good to hear from ya Bruce.

The last thing I do is the pickguard. It seems a bit far under the strings, and a wee bit off concentric, but it looks good to me.

Yep, the pick-guard does not line up with rossette. Knew I got got wrong the second I did it, but thought, heck, who would notice. Well, that was the first thing the dealer noticed before he even played it! Now I buy my pick-guards pre-made and make sure the guard will match the radius of the rosette. Lesson learned. No one ever said it would be easy .

Paul, have you seen Frank's rosette sanding jig? It is coll and I plan to make one the first time I have a need. It is a tapered cone of wood covered with sanding paper. You determine the diameter needed on the rosette, find the spot on the cone that matches and sand until the pickguard clears. Yowser, that Frank can make it happen now, with guitars....

If anyone searches it out, post a link back here, I want to see it again.

I've seen Frank Ford's pick-guard sanding jig, heck I think I have his entire site commited to memeory! The thing is I only have a few different radii rosettes I use and they are all now designed around "off the shelf" pre-cut pick-guards, it's just plain easier that way. Right now I'm likeing the LMI tortoise pick-guards, pricey but real nice.
