We got this one finished last week. It's already with it's new owner who is very happy with it.

My camera decided to die on me the day before we finished this so the pics were taken with a mobile phone ie they're not too good. ;)

You'll get the general idea. It's Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle with a Red spruce top from Steve Roberson, Ebony fingerboard and bindings and a Ringed Myall bridge.

It's a very loud and punch instrument.

Thanks for looking.

Bob

Another beauty from your stable Bob. I think Australia and it's woods are set to become the epicentre of guitar building in future years.

I'm not usually a fan of pickguards, but the colour and pattern of that one really go well with the Tiger myrtle. Great guitar as always.

A beautiful guitar, Bob.

I really like the strong grain in the top.

Great guitar Bob and Dave!

Tell me please is this one also loud, perhaps even though the red spruce top has not opened up yet every time we see a Tiger guitar the builder says that it is pretty loud?

Great job!!! [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

Lance and Brock any chance of getting some upside down emoticons for our southern hemisphere members? :D

Thanks everyone.

Hesh - it is a very loud guitar. The Native Olive dread we built a while back was a banjo killer but this little OM would beat it hands down.

Thanks for the birthday greeting Terry.

Mike - the pickguard is from Martin. I usually like to use the Greven Tortise pickguards but I'd run out. OM/OOO pickguards seem a bit hard to find unless you make your own. Neither LMI or Stewmac stock them. Does anyone know of a supplier?

regards

Bob

Great work, Bob. That tiger myrtle is a little more brown than other sets I've seen. Is it just the camera or is it really that brown?
