Well...Today I glued on my first bridge!!
What an experience for sure.
Now that it's clamped down, my question is How long should I keep the clamps on??
24 hrs..48 hrs. More..?
Titebond glue was used.
Thanks for your help.

I use a vacuum clamp and after 45 minutes remove the clamp - but ill wait a day before stringing it up. I have used both LMI white and HHG this way.

Hi Walter I use titebond and usually remove the clamps after about 1 Hour. I think the technical dat say 30 mins but I leave it a bit longer. As Lance says let it fully set before stringing. Under normal conditions about 24 Hours. In Las Vegas thats probably about 5 Seconds assuming the glue doesn't evaporate

Congratulations Walter! You are rounding the corner and heading for the home stretch. Don't rush it, you might as well leave the clamps on the rest of the day and then take them off tonight, and let the guitar breath overnight. You should be able to string it up tomorrow afternoon. You waited this long, what's another day
Good luck and hope to see pictures soon!
Tracy
