Hey Paul W, it`s headed your way bro.
I hope I left enough on the brace ends so you can get a nice fit in the notchs in the linings.

I varied the bracing layout to a bit more traditional looking configuration which I personally am more comfortable with.

I am really impressed with how much tone this little top is producing with just my tapping, and am looking forward to hearing the final product a lot.

I may just have to make one of these John How jumbo parlours for myself!

Matt, care to comment on the differences between the two tops? Old on the right.

Bruce, thanks for posting the pic of the old top, I more or less forgot what I did on the old one, so it`s intresting to see the differences between the two.

The first top I more or less followed the plans. In that pic the first I top must not have been completely finished with it yet as I always sand the bracing to soften any sharp edges and hope I didnt leave it like that.
(I belive that sharp edges make it hard for the air to travel over the bracing and can contibute to loss of punch and power.)

The second top I braced the same way I would one of my own guitars and located the finger bracing where I am more comfortable with seeing it.

I`m hoping to keep the top from rising too much under string tension and also to keep the top from having any kind of muddyness to the tone.

In my opinion, the second top is more efficent and should sound better than the first, I am certainly hoping so.
