I have a neck that is tilted 1/16th off center at the 20th fret.. IT looks like I need to take that amount off one side of the heel to get it to tilt back to center. How would you do this? Flossing with sand paper? chisel? Other ideas?

I would probably try the flossing method myself just like you would the set the neck.

I'm afraid the neck will begin to tilt back, the set it perfect in relation to the bridge.

Lance I would floss with sandpaper so that I could me very controlled in how much I take off at a time. I had rather take longer to do the job, than to end up taking too much off and having to readjust the other side.

...but I would hit it with chisels and files before using the
flossing method. Especially if you have a fretboard on the neck,
it's really, really hard to sand up to the fretboard on the
shoulder of the heal. Which will give you an adjusted angle.
Rethink you assessment of taking off the same amount. If my
thinking is right, you'll want to take off half as the pivot point is in
the center of the neck not on the side of the heal that you are
removing.
I'd scribe a line parallel with the edge you have already made,
1/2 of the distance you want to move the neck. Scribe clear
through the lacquer so you don't have any chipout problems.
Then very slowly and carefully shave away until you are almost
to the line and finish up with the flossing method. Keep in mind
that at the very heal, you'll have to taper it so you are where you
want to be on the new side without taking off anything from the
other side. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Paul

In the future you might want to try a tenon plane. I have had good results this way.
