For those of you who remember Tim Withers (his bio is on page 1), you probably realized he dissapeared from here around a year ago or so. Well, he's alive and well. It turns out that Tim took a consulting job with one of hi former customers, got married (Congrats!) and moved to a completely different town from where he lived. He's had no time for guitar building during all of this, and is finally getting going again, and is getting his new shop space all organized. I happened to be in my local Woodcraft store today to buy a router bit and laminate trimmer, (dang, the bits are cheap enough, but this buying a new router for every bit is gettin' expensive!) and I walked in on the manager (George) having a conversation with a guy about Brazilian rosewood guitar sets. It turned out to be Tim. We talked guitar stuff for over an hour. He's a great guy! I'm sure we'll see him around here more often now that he's back at the bench again.

Don I was wondering what happened to Tim. He was a frequent contributor here and built some very nice guitars. I'll be glad to see him back.

Thanks for the update Don, glad to hear Tim is doing well.    His absence here has been our loss.
