A couple of threads have rolled by lately describing shop jigs (rim sander
& purfling ledge router jig) that use big lazy susans.
For the cats pajamas in susan bearnigs check out the ones used in high
end TV lift/swivel units like the Auton
units. The susan alone isn't descibed on their site, but you west coasters
can get them at MacMurray

,catalog page 1544. They call them "Aluminum TV Swivel
with ballbearings". For suppliers in other parts of the country and world,
contact Auton for an outlet near you...
These things aren't cheap, but they're smooth as silk, and have no play in
them at all.
