Hey Tim, Hope you don't mind I post this review link by Mike Wong. Found it over on the fret. There are some nice videos of Mike playing the guitar which sound great. Tim, you should be proud to have made such a fine guitar. I look forward to trying one out next summer.
Mike has also included a couple of nice long videos of himself playing Tim's guitar.

I think that maybe Cherry gets over looked as a tonewood. May have to do one soon. Great looking guitar Tim.

This was the first time I had the opportunity to hear Mike play & sing... very talented guy, and I sure liked his choice of music for the clips. Well, I'll just have to get me some of that cherry!

Yes Tim, I'll be there. Hey that's a great sounding guitar. I got a doug fir top from BobC last month, is that where yours came from? Mine looks a lot like that, very tight grain and similar color. I might have to get some cherry to go with it. It'll definately have to be an all domestic wood guitar. Maybe some walnut or Oregon Myrtle.

John: My Douglas Fir came from the upper northwest corner of Canada. I have a friend up there that I trade wood with frequently. It's got a neet story behnind it. The DF was used as a boom log to tow timber accross a lake. There was a huge storm and it caused the boom log to washup on the beach and that's when my friend salvaged it. It was used as a boom log for 100+ years.

The cherry came from a local tree that I fell about 5 years ago. I will look forward to finally meeting you at HB later this summer.

Congratulations on a great sounding guitar, Tim. I commend you for your dedication and courage to put it on the line! A true purist approach to excellence.

Looks like HB will be a good place to meet OLFers. Can't wait to see the cherry model in person.
