Anybody have any contact with Mark Kett lately. I emailed him last week after Sept 19th, the day he said he'd be back in buisness but haven't heard from him.
Just curious and need some of his stuff.

I would give him a quick call. I always get him on the phone when ever I have called.

I am going to need some stuff from him before to long.

If you find out what is up let the rest of us know.

Josh

I need to talk to him also. I need the cut-away insert for his OM mold. I bet he's a busy guy.

I asked Mark about that a long time ago and he told me how to make one. I made it and then I never used it. You can do cutaway guitars without the insert no problem. Also I think he really needs to have the mold to make the insert. Or you will have to make the modifications to the mold so that it will accept the insert. If you make your own you can decide on the shape of the cutaway and even make more than one if you like. I think it is easiest to go without one. If you want to know more about how to make the incert of going without one let me know. I think I still have it somewhere in the shop and could maybe even get some pictures.

Yes, I could make my own to my own shape. I was thinking
since his molds are made on a CNC he wouldn't need the mold. Thanks for the heads up.

I had forgotten that he is now doing everything on CNC. I bought most of my stuff from him before he had the CNC machine. It brobably would not be that hard for him to do.

I had contact with him a day or so ago on a project. He is doing well and very busy. He is or in short order moving to a new shop. I think he is on hold again or limiting bigger projects until after move and settled in
