I have been mostly in "lurker mode" for the last few months as life has been keeping me pretty busy. So this is a general post for all the posts I've wanted to make along the way.

Firstly, I would like to welcome all the new forumites who have joined this community. Some of you are experienced, some are "newbies", some quite talented and some pondering your way through that first one. All are welcome. This is a great forum with lots of talented, helpful and positive members.

Second, I would like to congratulate some of the folks around here. Lance, Brock and Jesse- what a wonderful forum you've created. You've really cleaned up the weaknesses of the old forum and put together one that is easier and more fun. Good job guys!!!!

Also due congratulations are the many luthiers who have been posting their recent work. Wow! The talent out there is impressive and some of you are only on your second/third/fourth guitar. Unbelievable! Steve K said it best when he said, it's inspiring. My thoughts exacly, the work being displayed here is inspiring.

Lastly, I recently finished my shop and I owe a big thank you to those who gave me advice along the way. It would not be the shop it is without your help. Thank you.

The pink beast is a mess right now. I'm currently building benches, and moving wood in and stickering it. I've got boxes and "stuff" everywhere. So no pictures for now. Of course you're always welcome to stop by for a visit and see it first hand.
