The really annoying thing is my European region 2 DVD player won't play USA region 1 DVDs.

Um, I'd think John's simply encoding these as region 0 discs that'll play on any and all DVD players. If not, well, he should be doing that.

If your TV's fairly modern, it should display NTSC properly in 'PAL 60' type format; my cheap, mono samsung does this no problems at all. Oh, and does your PC have a DVD-ROM drive? There's always that option. Or spending 30-40 quid on a multi-region capable player. But first I'd check if you can 'crack' the player you have, which is very often a possibility.

I'm not putting any specail or extra encoding on them which means it is set to Zero so it will play anywhere. I have had quite a few customers from the UK, netherlands, Japan, South Africa, Australia, and more and they have all been pleased. In fact I just got a pre-order from a gentleman in the UK who bought the first set and liked them. (I have them up for pre-order right now ( http://www.mayesguitars.com/videos.html )

You mentioned before that if you preoder the CD that is coming in April you would give a $7 discount. If I go to your website to preoder the dvd's, how to I get the discount?

Yeah for sure. You can Paypal me the $38 to : John@mayesguitars.com and I'll get your DVD's set aside for ya. (waiting on the new DVD Cases..I finished all the editing tonight.)

The part two DVD was over 2 hours long so I had to do some fancy editing to make it shorter. IT came out about 1 hour 45 minutes, and the first one is 1 hour, but has all the blooper reels, Tapping Crib Notes (hard to explain..you'll just have to watch it)

Anyway I'm really happy with these ones. Thanks guys.

HAHA!!

I arranged that song in garageband. I swear I wasn't mimicing something I'd seen!
