I just launched our newest "thing". The OLF Wood Shed (is that two words or one.... not sure....)

I would be interested in your feedback, ideas to make it better, critisisms, etc.

Looks good Brock. A few questions:
1) What is the purpose of the Wood Shed? How does it differ from the list of OLF sponsors?
2) Does it feature specials that change periodically? How frequently?
3) Does it always feature the same wood suppliers or is it a rotating group?
4) Are the prices listed discounted for OLF members? (I thought Steve's BRW was a little on the low side! )

I think it's just another reason to stay at the forum! Nice feature!

Hi Brock,
I think it's very nice touch to highlighting products by our fellow Luthier suppliers.
It's like a stable "Pop-Up" but better.
Good Job Brock!!

That set of Brazilian from Colonial is SICK SICK SICK.
Probably the most gorgeous set I've ever seen...

Looks good Brock...

Brock, it looks good. But really now, come on, give me a break, cut me some slack, ratchet it back a notch, do you really want to see me divorced? I may have to go with my wife's idea and panel the den with tonewood (I think I have 2 walls already covered). Seriously though, it will provide a great place for the sponsors to display their merchandise.

I think at the core of it, it is just a "show off" spot for our advertisers. A place for them to spotlight their very very best sets --- that was the inspiration for it at least. I suspect that if we had a chance to root around in any of our advertisers "stashes" we would come across some real gems. I thought it might be fun to show them here.

All of the advertisers are invited to participate. The ones there now are the folks that got their pics to us. My thinking is that this will rotate every couple of weeks or so, but I suspect that it really depends on the advertisers and how fast they sell the sets listed. I am game for changing it out faster or slower -- whatever the market demands.

The prices are simply what the suppliers tell us. Presumably if this represents the very best of the best I suspect the prices will tend to skew toward the top end of the scale... however, advertisers may elect to put up great values...

I don't see it anywhere....

Mario, the Wood Shed is on the first screen after you enter the forum. The link is above the OLF Membership and below the list of Sponsors.

Maybe if someone misbehaves, either Brocl or Lance could take them out behind the Wood Shed...

I think it's a great idea! I'll go back and look some more after I finish crying over not getting that set of Braz.
