I sure would like to hear the steps you used in making that tapered insert in the back seam.

Thanks some more everybody.

John, there really wasn't much to it. I routed the whole channel at once, then sanded each piece until it all fit together. The hardest part is tapering the .020" purfling down to zero over a 6" or so length.
