Mine is free, unless you don't want it... what size would you like? I have bunches of the good stuff...nice landscape figure!

I definitely want it. The bridge for this will be 6.25 long and 1.125 inches wide. I like to start with about a 3/8 thick piece if possible.

Thanks in advance

John

C'mon, Bob, you going to take that lying down?
You could send my bro a bridge blank, AND pay him to take it too!

Just trying to help....

Help stir the pot?

I am really admiring that neck John, it's lookin' good. I'll bet it's a close grain wood requiring no filler too huh?John How38673.6230208333

There are areas that require filling my not much. It is a funny wood in that respect. The really light part is poreless or nearly so, the more tan grain lines have some pores though nothing overly large

Don't you do it Bob! I'll just have to pay him MORE!

That's a very pretty guitar. The luthier in Nicaragua that I've been working with just built one out of ash...some priest down here really wanted an ash guitar and paid big $ to have it brought down from the states. Wasn't finished when I took these pics so I have no idea how it sounds, but it certainly looks nice. Alternative tonewood as well as alternative neckwood?

That's really nice.

I didn't know that ash was curly at all a year ago and now it looks like curly ash is no more rare than curly maple.

Steve actually that was going to be my next post. Free bridge and pay him $5.00 to boot maybe throw in a ziricote fretboard too, but I didn't want my semi-retired friend Don to get P.O. at me

I think I can settle this:
The first guy to send a tub of lard off to Australia gets to give my brother a bridge blank.

Sheesh, that was easy.

Steve
