I've been asked to repair a New Tenor Ukelele that has a Buzz in the First String from 1 to 4 fret. Is the first time that I have to do such a work in such a instrument, I suposse that the frets are not leveled, any advice?

Geez...no reply in a week now?

I'd take the easy route first.....find which fret is too high and just file it a bit under the 1st string. You don't even need to take the strings off. If the buzz only happens at fret 1-4 then its probably the 5th fret that's high. It won't take much filing to get rid of the buzz.

You're right! We should have posted this reply a week ago....

click fret buzz

or use the search link above and enter 'fret buzz'.

There are 12 pages of posts just using those two keywords.

Good luck!
